Madeleine was invited to speak at TU-BA's CITYMAKERS series at the Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava about the role of co-design in creating more inclusive and imaginative cities. Through projects including The Garden of Privatised Delights, A Public Kitchen and Filling the Void, the lecture explored how collaboration can help communities play a more active role in creating the places they live. It was followed by a panel discussion with Hana Skljarszka and Petra Marko on how participatory design can become a more integral part of city-making.
